COVID-19 Client Update #8 21.06.2022
When you attend WPS for your onsite appointment, please come to Reception to check in. From the 26th April, our waiting room reopened but you may wait in your car if you prefer. Due to being in a sensitive health setting, COVID 19 vaccination and mask wearing requirements to enter the building remain in place. Please discuss with reception if you have any concerns.
DO NOT ATTEND In person counselling if you are feeling unwell with any cold or flu symptoms (headache, sore throat, aches & pains, coughing etc) or have been exposed to someone testing for or tested positive to Covid-19.
This is to ensure the health and safety of our clients, staff and community, and to ensure WPS can continue to provide services.
We ask you to protect yourself and others around you by being aware of the health authority advice and taking appropriate precautions:
We ask you to clean your hands with the hand-sanitizer before you enter the clinic.
Face masks must be worn in public spaces in the practice rooms (including Children Grade 3 and up).
We ask you to observe physical distancing (1.5m) at all times in the building.
We ask you to cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue if you cough or sneeze.
Due to the uncertain COVID 19 situation going forward some psychologists may choose to only offer Telehealth appointments. Please be guided by the SMS confirmation reminder as to the options available for your upcoming appointment. If telehealth is not possible for your appointments, please let us know ASAP or via the SMS response so we can update your file immediately.
Our phone lines remain very busy, as we are doing our best responding to a lot of enquiries and phone counselling sessions. You are welcome to please try email & SMS for a more rapid response if appropriate.
We thank you in advance for your continued patience as we navigate these ongoing challenges.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
