Post-Graduate / Placement Program
Western Psychological Services has a highly regarded Final Placement Program, dedicated to the professional learning and development of students seeking a career in psychology.
This program is available to Clinical Psychology Masters student and Doctoral Candidates.
Our program is unique in its capacity to offer a placement experience with a wide range of client presentations and challenging clinical work with complex client groups.
Students undertaking placement with us will have in-clinic weekly supervision, monthly supervision with our director and clinical psychologist Dr Angelo Pagano, and have access to frequent group supervision and onsite special interest groups (including EMDR and Schema Therapy groups).
Students who complete a placement with WPS may have the opportunity to join our team as registrars.
We welcome applications for clinical placements from Master's or Doctoral psychology trainees.

Supervision Services with WPS Psychologists
Clinical Supervision
Face-to-Face or Telehealth
Supervisors play a key role in the training of psychologist competencies and for area of practice endorsement.
WPS has several registered supervisors that can provide supervision to provisional psychologists, graduates, endorsement or any registered psychologist wishing to engage a private supervisor.
At Western Psychological Services, we offer high-quality clinical supervision to support psychologists and mental health professionals in their ongoing professional development. Our supervisors provide a safe, reflective, and collaborative space to explore clinical work, build confidence, and ensure best practice.
Supervision can include case discussions, support with ethical decision-making, skill development, and guidance with assessment or therapeutic approaches. We tailor supervision to meet the individual needs of provisionally registered, early-career, or experienced psychologists, and can provide support in meeting AHPRA and training program requirements.
Whether you are seeking regular supervision or occasional consultation, our aim is to foster a supportive environment that encourages growth, insight, and clinical excellence.
