Autism (ASD) Assessments

Autism Spectrum Disorder is a complex developmental condition which can involve persistent communication challenges, restricted interests and repetitive behaviour. Autism Assessment’s can help determine an individual’s strength, challenges and support needs which can lead to a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder whilst providing appropriate interventions.

Autism Assessments at WPS will be conducted by a psychologist and a speech pathologist.

WPS offer fully comprehensive ASD Assessments which include the following:

Pragmatics profile screener (conducted by speech pathologist)

Language assessment (conducted by speech pathologist)

Cognitive assessment (conducted by psychologist)

ADOS-2 (autism assessment, conducted by psychologist & speech pathologist)

Screeners (Vineland, Autism Spectrum Rating Scale)

Feedback session
